How the design settled

R1Initial sketches placed the stones symmetrically; round two introduced the intended asymmetry.
R2A 12° tilt between the two settings lets both stones catch light at rest.
R3The direction keeps a soft knife-edge shank and no pavé — the metal stays quiet.

Metal: 18k yellow gold (75% gold), recycled alloy
Stones: Ceylon-type blue sapphire 0.9 ct (heat-treated, disclosed) and round brilliant laboratory-grown diamond 0.7 ct (E/VS2)
Setting: Open double gallery, hand-cut seats
Finish: High polish exterior, satin interior
