Quotes and validity

Every commission begins with a written quote itemising metal, stones, labour and delivery. Because metal and gemstone prices move, each quote is valid for 14 days from issue unless stated otherwise.

Prices are quoted in USD. Any applicable taxes, VAT and duties are handled as described in our Shipping & Returns policy and stated in your quote.

Design fee, deposit and balance

A design fee (from $150) initiates 3D CAD modelling and is credited toward the piece if you proceed. A 50% deposit is due when you approve the final CAD; production begins on receipt. The balance is due before dispatch.

The design fee is refundable until CAD work begins. The deposit is refundable until your CAD approval; after approval it covers materials purchased and bench time committed and is no longer refundable. The balance is refundable if we cancel the project.

A payment is recorded only when our payment provider confirms it; the confirmation email and your quote reference are the record.

Revisions

Three rounds of parameter revisions are included in the design fee: proportion, band width, stone size, finish and similar adjustments.

A structural redesign (a new concept) or substitution of the center stone after CAD approval is new work and is quoted separately before continuing.

CAD approval

Production starts only after your written approval of the final CAD confirmation, which records dimensions, spelling and engraving text, stone type and metal.

After approval, responsibility for those confirmed details rests with the approval record. We produce exactly what was approved; changes after approval may require re-quoting.

Handcraft tolerances

Handmade jewelry carries reasonable tolerances: typically ±0.2 mm on dimensions and minor variation in surface texture. Natural stones vary in colour and may contain inclusions; these are characteristics, not defects.

Ring sizing

You are responsible for the size you confirm; we provide a sizing kit and guidance. Resizing is free within 60 days of delivery where the design allows. Full-eternity, tension and some engraved structures cannot be resized — we identify these before production.

Delivery

All shipments are fully insured and require a signature. Risk passes on delivery. Customs inspections can delay arrival; see Shipping & Returns for duties and VAT.

Warranty and complaints

Two-year warranty against manufacturing defects as detailed in Care & Warranty. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights, including remedies for faulty or mis-described goods in the EU and UK.

Complaints: email us first; we acknowledge within 2 business days and propose a resolution within 14. Chargebacks initiated without contacting us are contested with the project’s written record.

Governing law

Governing law and dispute resolution will be finalised with counsel for our registration jurisdiction and confirmed in the final version of these terms.
