Quotes and validity

Every commission begins with a written quote itemising metal, stones, labour and delivery. Because metal and gemstone prices move, each quote carries a fixed validity period stated on the quote itself.

Once the quotation is confirmed and full payment has been received, the price is fixed. Only a specification change you request triggers a revised quotation and production schedule, which is implemented only after your written confirmation.

Prices are quoted in the currency stated on your written quote. Any applicable taxes, VAT and duties are handled as described in our Shipping & Returns policy and stated in your quote.

Payment

Once all specifications and the final quotation are approved, full payment is required before production begins — there is no separate deposit. Amounts, timing and refund conditions are confirmed in your written proposal before you pay anything.

A payment is recorded only when our payment provider confirms it; the confirmation email and your quote reference are the record.

Revisions

The included design scope and revision rounds are stated in your proposal: proportion, band width, stone size, finish and similar adjustments.

A structural redesign (a new concept) or substitution of the center stone after CAD approval is new work and is quoted separately before continuing.

CAD approval

Production starts only after your written approval of the final CAD confirmation, which records dimensions, spelling and engraving text, stone type and metal.

After approval, responsibility for those confirmed details rests with the approval record. We produce exactly what was approved; changes after approval may require re-quoting.

Handcraft tolerances

Individually made, hand-finished jewelry carries reasonable tolerances: typically ±0.2 mm on dimensions and minor variation in surface texture. Natural stones vary in colour and may contain inclusions; these are characteristics, not defects.

Finished weight is quoted as a target (estimated) weight, not a guaranteed exact figure; reasonable handcraft tolerance applies and is stated in your proposal.

Ring sizing

You are responsible for the size you confirm; we confirm sizing with you before production. Full-eternity, tension and some engraved structures cannot be resized — we identify these before production.

Delivery

Shipments are sent with tracking and require a signature on delivery; carrier and insurance arrangements are confirmed in your written proposal. Risk passes on delivery. Customs inspections can delay arrival; see Shipping & Returns for duties and VAT.

Warranty and complaints

Two-year warranty against manufacturing defects as detailed in Care & Warranty. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights, including remedies for faulty or mis-described goods in the EU and UK.

Complaints: email us first; we acknowledge within 2 business days and propose a resolution within 14. Chargebacks initiated without contacting us are contested with the project’s written record.

Governing law

Governing law and dispute resolution will be finalised with counsel for our registration jurisdiction and confirmed in the final version of these terms.
