01 — Design note
“An engagement ring study in cool tones — an oval stone on a lowered, quiet band. The starting point was a feeling: low winter sun over water.”
Design studies are concept work: directions we can develop for you, shown as renders rather than delivered pieces.

How the design settled
- R1First sketch explored a floating oval on a knife-edge band; it read too delicate for daily wear.
- R2Round two thickened the band to 1.9 mm and lowered the setting by 0.8 mm, so the stone sits closer to the finger.
- R3The direction settles on a matte finish inside the band — a detail only the wearer would see.
